A special delivery of 200 tons of sand has been made in preparation for next week's Hampton Beach Master Sand Sculpting Classic.
The flat sand makes it easier to compact and build with.
Sculptors from around the world will start shaping their creations next Thursday.

One woman who has volunteered at the event for years says watching that process is her favorite part.
