Sydney Hastings has been as consistent as they come this season.

No matter the moment, the Saline softball star and Michigan commit has delivered with eye-popping performances.

Hastings stellar play continued last week during the district tournament, which helped her earned Ann Arbor-area Athlete of the Week honors.

The senior standout recorded five hits, eight RBIs and a home run during Saline’s D1 district championship run.

Hastings earned AOTW praise following her district play by receiving more than 50% of the total votes.

She edged out Chelsea baseball player Will McCalla and Dexter softball standout Clara Lamb who finished third in the voting.
