CHAPEL HILL — Jake Knapp and UNC baseball are two wins shy of a trip to the College World Series in Omaha.
Knapp, who has a 13-0 record as one of the top pitchers in the nation, and the No. 5 overall seed Tar Heels (45-13) face Arizona in Game 1 of the 2025 NCAA Tournament's Chapel Hill Super Regional on Friday, June 6. First pitch is set for Noon ET at Boshamer Stadium.
The Wildcats (42-18) swept through the Eugene Regional on the strength of their power hitting, finishing with 15 home runs across three regional games. Arizona is in a super regional for the first time since 2021, but the four-time national champions have won each of their last three super regional series.
The best-of-three series continues Saturday, June 7 (Noon, ESPN2).
