Look out, Seattle: We’ve got a heat wave incoming!
Things are about to get hot on Sunday and Monday.
Friday and Saturday will see highs in the upper 70s accompanied by sunny weather, but when Sunday rolls around, we’ll blow right past 80.
Temperatures will get into the mid to upper 80s on Sunday and Monday in the Seattle area, said National Weather Service meteorologist Dana Felton. That’s “well above normal” for this time of year.
So, maybe rethink that Sunday barbecue and sub in some cold ice cream and Popsicles while you soak up the sun.
Normally, we’d expect a nice and comfy 70-degree day this time of year, Felton said.
