CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WV News) — HealthNet Aeromedical Services graduated 10 participants from its 2025 flight academy program during a ceremony held Thursday at the Charleston Light Opera Guild Theatre.
Six flight nurses and four flight paramedics completed the 10-week training program known as Flight Academy Romeo. Graduates were presented with certificates and flight vests during the event, attended by program leaders, friends and family members.
The academy includes classroom instruction, simulation lab work and helicopter simulator training. Upon graduation, the certified mobile critical care nurses and paramedics were assigned to various HealthNet Aeromedical Services bases across West Virginia.
