GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - A Consumer First Alert: Wisconsinites are getting hit with another wave of text scams. This latest one using the name of the Wisconsin DMV is exploding in the last week.

The state Department of Transportation and law enforcement agencies continue getting reports about a scam text saying it’s your final notice to pay a fine for a traffic violation.

The text lists a number of ways you’ll be penalized to create a sense of urgency.
