Preview of Taste of Syracuse with Filipino fusion vendor, 'Oompa Loompyas'

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Oompa Loompyas, a Filipino fusion food truck, is one of the vendors at Taste of Syracuse on Friday and Saturday.

The food festival is outdoors at Clinton Square, where over 70 vendors will showcase their most popular dishes. The event will also have live music from local artists and bands.

Oompa Loompyas is known for the lumpias, a traditional Filipino dish that is similar to an egg roll, with different meats inside. The vendor is also one of the vendors on the list that is doing $2 samples.
