ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Two people were shot near southwest Atlanta’s Greenbriar Mall on Thursday, police said.
APD officers said they were called to 2841 Greenbriar Parkway SW around 3 p.m., where they found two 19-year-old men with multiple gunshot wounds.
The men were reportedly shot near 2628 Senegal Way, which is less than a quarter mile from the mall.
“Definitely a little nerve wracking. My wife and I just had our first child a week ago and to be sitting in our living room a few feet away from where a couple of gun shots went off is a little alarming,” said a home owner who lives right next to the shooting and wants to remain anonymous.
The gunshots hit the two 19-year-olds. Police said one got shot multiple times in the upper body; the other was shot in the arm.
