Those of you who live in Dennistoun may have noticed a new shop opening up on Duke Street in recent weeks.

The hilariously named shop Yerontaeplums opened up a few weeks back, and is starting to become popular with east end locals.

Opened up by "Dennistoun born and bred" John Stewart, he felt the east end of Glasgow was lacking in enough fresh fruit and veg shops.

As well as offering produce, including strawberries which have been flying off the shelf , John also offers ceremonial matcha tea and freshly made ginger shots.

The 52-year-old told Glasgow Live : "People are walking by and taking photos of the shop name and peeing themselves laughing - which is good because it's attracting customers.
