A Perkasie woman was arrested after she got into a fight at a Doylestown bar and grabbed an officer by the throat, authorities said.

Rebecca Barraclough, 38, was drunk and acting disorderly at Chambers 19 on North Main Street on Sunday, June 1, according to Central Bucks Regional Police.

Officers responded to a call for a disorderly patron. Barraclough refused to leave the bar and physically fought with employees and other patrons, police said.

When officers tried to take her into custody, she resisted and “grabbed an officer's throat,” police said.

Barraclough was charged with aggravated assault (F2), simple assault (M2), public drunkenness, and disorderly fighting, according to the arrest record. She was arraigned, and her bail was set at $15,000 unsecured, police said.
