KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The Loudon County Sheriff’s Office said a body was found Friday morning near the railroad tracks off Fout Town Road in Lenoir City.

Public Information Officer Cpl. Cody Bengel said deputies and detectives were actively investigating and processing the scene.

Cpl. Bengel said the body will be taken to the Knox County Forensic Center for examination.

No other information was released.
