The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Friday for the 10th consecutive day, decreasing 1.4 cents to $4.703, its lowest amount since March 27.

The average price has dropped 10.3 cents over the past 10 days, including 1 cent Thursday, according to figures from AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. It is 6.7 cents less than one week ago, 4.5 cents lower than one month ago and 23 cents below what it was one year ago.

The average price has dropped $1.79 since rising to a record $6.493 on Oct. 5, 2022.
