TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Florida A&M University’s Board of Trustees approved a five-year contract Friday for their presidential-elect, Marva Johnson.
Eight trustees voted in favor of the contract, which includes a salary of $650,000. The salary is $100,000 less than Johnson’s minimum salary request, Board Chair Kristin Harper revealed moments after eight trustees voted to select Johnson as their presidential pick three weeks ago.
However, the contract includes retention bonuses and performance incentives.
