TAMPA, Fla. — As Gov. Ron DeSantis is set to face term limits, candidates for Florida's gubernatorial race in 2026 are starting to emerge across parties.

The shows that at least 20 people have already filed to run.

Several other names have been floated for the race, and some politicians — such as ex-Congressman Matt Gaetz and State Senator Jason Pizzo (D-Miami) — have previously hinted at a run.
