GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — Coming off back-to-back wins, the Chukars had an unscheduled day off Wednesday when their game at Grand Junction was postponed due to rain.
When they got back on the field Thursday, the Chukars (11-3) kept the hot streak rolling with a 25-7 victory over the Jackalopes (3-11).
Idaho Falls trailed, 3-0, at the end of one before erupting for nine runs in the second inning. They knocked Grand Junction starter Riley Egloff (L, 0-2) out before he ever recorded an out in that laborious second. Egloff was saddled with eight earned runs on 10 hits.
