INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WFIE) - After a first place finish Thursday night in the 50m breaststroke final, Lilly King was back in the pool Friday morning.

She placed second in the 100m heats with a time of 1:06.57, meaning she’ll swim in the finals Friday night.

King holds both the American and World records in the 100, with a time of 1:04.13.

With her win in the 50m , King will head to the World Championship next month in Singapore.

It will mark the end of her impressive competitive swimming career.

The Reitz graduate has six Olympic medals, half of them gold.
