KAYSVILLE, Utah (ABC4) — One of the fields at Barnes Park Field will be closed until further notice after vandals tore up the grass, leaving behind a trail of dirt tracks.
The Kaysville City Parks and Recreation Department posted photos of the manicured fields blemished by the tracks of an ATV. In the post, the department said they were "heartbroken" to share that someone took an ATV to the field, causing "significant damage."
"The field has been torn up so badly that we now have to remove and replace the sod - meaning the fields will be closed for repairs," the Kaysville Parks and Recreation Department said.
