PORTLAND, Ore. — KGW has issued a Weather Impact Alert for this Saturday, Sunday and Monday, as the Portland metro area could see its first 90-degree days of the year.
Saturday could reach a high of 89 degrees. Anyone planning to watch the Rose Festival's Grand Floral Parade on Saturday may experience temperatures between 74-81 degrees during the parade.
Sunday and Monday could be even warmer, with the latest forecast showing temperatures potentially climbing to 95 degrees on both days.
A heat advisory will be taking effect Sunday morning until Monday night at 10 p.m. for the valley and into parts of the Columbia River Gorge, and The Dalles could be seeing highs around 100 degrees on Sunday afternoon, according to KGW meteorologist Joe Raineri.
