BEREA, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — A Berea woman is facing charges after a deadly crash in Madison County.

According to court documents, 48-year-old Elizabeth Fox is charged with vehicular homicide while under the influence and DUI after a crash on April 9 that killed Victoria McQueary.

A complaint warrant states that witnesses said Fox ran a red light at high speed at KY 956 and Richmond Road and hit McQueary’s car. Fox had to be freed from her vehicle and was hospitalized. According to the warrant, blood tests showed her blood alcohol content was more than twice the legal limit.

Fox is being held on $100,000 bond and is due in Madison District Court.
