HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police are investigating a fatal crash on the Pali Highway that occurred in the early hours of Friday morning.
According to police, a 23-year-old man was traveling eastbound on a motorcycle at high speed when he lost control and hit the concrete curb at around 2:24 a.m.
Police said the man was ejected onto the road as a result of the crash.
Emergency Medical Services transported the man to hospital in critical condition. He died of the injuries sustained a few hours later.
Police said the man was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and speed appears to be a factor in the collision. However, at this time, it is unknown if drugs or alcohol are also contributing factors.
