GLADEWATER, Texas — The rodeo may be very fun and there may be lots of games involved, but it's not all fun and games. It can get dangerous out there for the riders. So they have to take safety into account.
Brook Hill School graduate Dylan Ouzts is committed to Panola College to compete in saddle bronc riding at the collegiate level. He will admit his event isn't necessarily the most dangerous, he's still been beaten up his fair share.
"Saddle bronc riding is known as the classy event of rodeo. It's fun, man, I feel like it doesn't beat you up as much as bareback riding, or it looks that way on TV. But, man, I've had broken bone after broken bone. But, I mean, it's just a fun deal," Ouzts said.
