MONROE, Ohio (WXIX) - Kohl’s announced Friday its E-commerce Fulfillment Center in Monroe is closing.

The facility will close in September 2025, according to Kohl’s .

The Monroe facility has been in operation since 2001 and is one of 14 Kohl’s E-commerce Fulfillment Centers in the U.S.

“This was a difficult decision, and one we did not take lightly,” said Michael J. Bender, Kohl’s interim chief executive officer. “Ultimately, it’s a necessary step to strengthen our operational discipline, drive greater cost efficiency, and ensure the long-term health of our business — for our customers, our associates, and the future of our company.”

Kohl’s said all workers have been informed.

In April, Kohl’s closed two Tri-State locations : Blue Ash and Forest.
