Evan Stewart , Oregon’s leading returning receiver, suffered an injury that could keep him out for most, if not all, of the 2025 season.
Stewart, who had 48 receptions for 613 yards and five touchdowns in 2024, is feared to have torn his patellar tendon, according to multiple reports.
CFBHeadlines first reported a season-ending injury the 6-foot, 175-pound Stewart, who began his career at Texas A&M in 2022.
Stewart missed a significant portion of spring practice, including UO’s spring game, due to an unspecified and unrelated injury. He is entering what was to be his final season of college eligibility and it’s not immediately clear if he intends to redshirt and return in 2026.
