The Department for Work and Pensions could be forced to scrap a new four point rule for Personal Independence Payments - as a campaign urging a rethink hits a big milestone.

An eye-watering 50,000 people have now signed a signature on a petition calling for the Labour Party government to u-turn. Petition creator Charlie Anderson launched the campaign in the wake of the Labour Party government's cuts.

The cuts to PIP and Universal Credit , if they come in, would take effect from November and bring in a new points system for disabled benefits claimants to try and navigate in the UK.
