Video: Search continues over a week for escaped Arkansas inmate Grant Hardin

IZARD COUNTY, Ark. – Izard County Sheriff Charley Melton gave an update Thursday on the ongoing search for an escaped Arkansas inmate.

Melton posted to social media that the search is ongoing for Grant Hardin and his office is “actively involved.” He acknowledged that the coordinated roadblocks in the county are creating frustration for some people.

Melton continued to assure that his department and others involved in the search “are not intended to disrupt your daily life” but that the searches are underway out of concern for public safety.
