Tense moments ended in an arrest in Mobile after a man told police he had a bomb under his vehicle.
Police responded to a call about a man standing outside of his vehicle in the 600 block of Girby Road around noon Thursday.
According to investigators, the man made statements implying the presence of an explosive device. He resisted officers as they gave verbal commands for him to stand down.
Mitchell Revette, 38, was eventually taken into custody. Police searched the area and did not find an explosive device.
Revette was booked into the Mobile Metro Jail and charged with resisting arrest and failure to obey.
Court documents show Revette has a history of drug charges in Baldwin County.
