NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — is urging city leaders to act swiftly on transportation improvements with a new report outlining six actionable steps to improve safety and mobility across the city.
The nonprofit released its inaugural “State of Our Streets” report Tuesday, delivering it to Sabrina Sussman, the new Chief Programs Officer for Nashville’s Choose How You Move initiative. The report was also submitted to Mayor Freddie O’Connell, Metro Council, and Diana Alarcon, director of the Nashville Department of Transportation and Multimodal Infrastructure.
The timing of the release comes just two days after Sussman assumed her new role. The document includes recent case studies and a call to implement key changes by the midpoint of O’Connell’s term this fall.
