ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Part of a busy Dunwoody road is closed on Friday morning as crews repair a water main break.

Chamblee Dunwoody Road has been shut down from Harris Circle to Redfield Drive, according to Dunwoody police. Officers said the repair will take “several hours.”

Water was seen gushing from a nearby hydrant. Police said Redfield Drive is being monitored for southbound flooding.

In the meantime, officers ask drivers to avoid the area if possible.
