Charges have been laid following a road rage incident in Cambridge earlier this week.
On Monday, police responded to a report of road rage in the area of Garth Massey Drive and Arthur Fach Drive. The victim informed officers that during the altercation, the other driver allegedly yelled racist comments at her, spat on her, and threw a cup of coffee at her before fleeing the scene. No physical injuries were reported.
As a result of an ongoing investigation, police arrested and charged a 40-year-old woman from Cambridge on Thursday. She faces charges of mischief under $5,000, assault, and assault with a weapon.
The accused is scheduled to appear in court on July 14.
