HEBER CITY, Utah (KUTV) — A young moose was safely captured and relocated Friday morning after it was spotted wandering through a residential area in Heber City.
Police were dispatched to the area of 500 North and 100 West around 6:45 a.m. on June 6 after receiving reports of a moose seen resting in a driveway and roaming through private property.
Officials said the moose, believed to be lost and curious, wandered through the neighborhood for about an hour and 15 minutes before officers arrived along with personnel from the Utah Division of Natural Resources.
