MERIDIAN, Idaho — Meridian's popular summer concert series returns to Kleiner Park this year with a new title sponsor and lineup of local bands performing free outdoor shows on alternating Friday nights.

Connections Credit Union has signed on as the new title sponsor for the Connections Credit Union Kleiner Park Live concert series, which kicks off Friday, June 6, according to an announcement from Meridian Parks & Recreation.

The series will feature five bands performing at the Kleiner Park Bandshell throughout the summer. Dark Desert Highway, an Eagles tribute band, opens the series on June 6, followed by Push2Play on June 20, performing cover songs from the 1970s and 1980s.
