A partnership has purchased the former Buca di Beppo restaurant in Whitehall Township, with plans to transform it into what they say will be the Lehigh Valley’s first international market and kitchen with a Mediterranean focus.

Sultan Property Group LLC – a partnership formed by Timor Bulag, Cengiz Yalim, Tuncay Yalim, and Mohammad Khan – completed the $1,150,000 acquisition of the property at 714 Grape St. on Wednesday, according to a news release from Lehigh Financial Group, which arranged financing on the deal.

The group plans to fully renovate the 1.7-acre standalone property, taking advantage of its existing commercial kitchen, parking, and potential for expansion.
