MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) - The numbers are in and Vermont’s ski areas are going strong.

The Vermont Ski Areas Association says Vermont can boast continued growth with the 2024-25 season, despite some challenges.

Vermont’s alpine ski areas reported 4.16 million skier visits, up 1.1 percent from last year and 6.2 percent over the 10-year average.

There were also 19 more inches of snow than the season before.

With these numbers, Vermont remains the top ski state in the east and the fourth largest in the nation.
