WARD COUNTY, N.D. — The 80-year-old man killed in a crash near Douglas, North Dakota, southwest of Minot, has been identified.

Gorlyn Wohlk, of Douglas, was killed Thursday, June 5, after he was hit while driving a 2022 John Deere side-by-side utility vehicle by a 2014 Kenworth cement truck driven by a 68-year-old Richard Spaulding from Minot, according to a report from the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

The patrol report said the cement truck was passing the UTV as both vehicles were driving west along 359th Avenue Southwest at about 8:30 a.m., when the UTV made a left turn onto 156th Street Southwest.
