A man briefly reported missing by Sarnia police this week just got out of jail for fraud.

Edward Cuthbertson, 21, was last seen at 5 a.m. Wednesday in the area of Norman Street and London Road, police said in a social media post around 5 p.m. that day.

“There are concerns for his well-being,” police said, who issued a photo of him in a red Toronto Raptors hoodie.

In an update about three hours later, police said Cuthbertson was located and they thanked the public for their help.

On Monday, Cuthbertson pleaded guilty to fraud in Sarnia court. He illegally used a dead woman’s credit card last year, breaching probation and bail conditions. He was sentenced to 75 days in jail and after credit for time in pre-plea custody, the judge said he’d likely be released on Tu
