Milbys Coello has a bachelor’s degree in human resources, has personal support work training, and speaks three languages.

She’s also valedictorian in this year’s about 65-student graduating adult education class via the Lambton Kent District School Board.

Taking various credits at home and in a School Within a School (SWAC) classroom, at Lambton College, was primarily about improving her English, said the Venezuela native who came to Canada around 2008, and spent half a dozen years in Montreal before moving to Sarnia.

But achieving her Ontario Secondary School Diploma – she has her high school diploma from Venezuela already – was also an insightful experience, and helps pave the way for her plans to study social work, said the single mother of two.
