LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Police Department is looking for two Bobcat track loaders and those responsible for taking them.
On Wednesday, police were sent to a construction site near Northwest 48th and Holdrege streets on the report of stolen equipment.
The manager of Duke Aerial Equipment told officers they had rented out the Bobcats to a construction company from Oklahoma for one week.
According to the police department, the loaders were dropped off at the construction site on May 20 and have not been seen since.
During the investigation, police talked to a neighbor who lives near the construction site. He said he saw a trailer arrive around midnight on May 21 and load up the Bobcats.
Police confirmed that it was not Duke Aerial, or the company believed to have rented them.
