Massive Attack have criticised Barclays, which they described as an ‘unethical corporate identity’, after the bank became a Founding Partner of Co-op Live.
The huge band, made up of Robert '3D' Del Naja and Grant 'Daddy G' Marshall, posted a message on social media to their 400,000 followers ahead of their show at the huge £400m music venue on Thursday evening (June 5).
It was recently announced Barclays would become a Founding Partner of Co-op Live as well as a Principal Partner of The O2. Alongside sponsorship of events and branding opportunities, the partnership means customers will be able to snap up early tickets to shows at both venues.
