MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The Superintendent of the Corinth School District has been indicted on charges and is now set to appear in court in July.

According to court records, Edward Lee Childress, the former superintendent, has a trial date set for July 14.

This indictment stems from Childress’ failure to appropriately document and report a teacher’s AI pornography of students.

The teacher, Wilson Jones, a former school teacher with the Corinth School District, was taken into custody on a three-count felony indictment on charges for depicting a child engaging in sexual conduct, as returned by the Alcorn County Grand Jury.
