The Missourian Publishing Co. was acquired by Hoffmann Family of Companies Friday, June 6. The sale includes The Missourian , Franklin County’s oldest and largest newspaper, its digital platform, emissourian.com , and its commercial printing operations.
The newspaper, which dates back to 1860, was purchased by James L. Miller in 1937. It has been owned and operated by members of the Miller family since that time and is widely recognized as one of the best community newspapers in Missouri and the country. The newspaper currently has a circulation of over 8,000, which includes nearly 1,000 digital subscribers. ×
