YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The Youngstown City School District announced phase one of its district reconfiguration plan during a May press conference, and now, it is requesting community feedback.

The survey, according to a news release, aims to gather community feedback on the district reconfiguration plan.

This feedback, according to the survey, will "help guide [the Youngstown City School District's] plans to unite our schools and select a new name and mascot that reflect our shared values."

The survey is available online here until June 12.

Additionally, a town hall will be hosted by the Youngstown City School District on June 18, 2025, at 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the auditorium of East High School, 474 Bennington Avenue.
