Guests told to evacuate hotel, smoke seen in stairwell

DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - Guests at the Hotel Blackhawk in Davenport were told to evacuate Friday afternoon.

Around 12:15 p.m. a KWQC crew spoke to guests that were inside the hotel who said they were told to evacuate the building. They said as they were leaving they could see smoke in the stairwell.

A KWQC crew could see Davenport Fire Department crews on scene.
