TWIN FALLS — As one election ends, the next election cycle begins.

Leslie Wolff, a member of the far-right Magic Valley Liberty Alliance, has filed to run for assessor against her boss, Twin Falls County Assessor Brad Wills. Wolff is a certified appraiser who currently works in Will's office.

The primary election for the county office will take place about one year from now, in May 2026.

"Brad comes from the developers and builders side, and I see a lot of things that I don't feel was equal for everyone," Wolff told the Times-News Saturday at the alliance's spring barbecue. "So my thing is equality for all."

Wills has never faced a challenger in his seven years as assessor. County commissioners in December 2017 appointed him to the position Gerald Bowden retired. Wills then ran for
