SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Shreveport Police have tied Jerome Williams to a string of four burglaries after surveillance evidence showed a man breaking into a local business and cutting the cords to its security system.
After looking into the case, SPD arrested Williams on four counts of simple burglary and one count of criminal property damage.
The break-ins happened twice at a business on Hollywood Avenue on April 27 and May 3, and twice at a city-owned property on Kings Highway near Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport on May 28 and June 3.

According to SPD, Williams allegedly caused extensive property damage to the city building, leading to the criminal property damage charge.
Police identified and arrested Williams on June 5.
