RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Virginia State Police seized over 140 pounds of narcotics and over $1 million in revenue from illegal drugs within the last week as part of its statewide ongoing crime suppression investigations.
From Thursday, May 29, to Thursday, June 5, state police, along with other law enforcement agencies, partnered to continue their investigation on multiple crimes across the state, including the recovery of firearms and narcotics, as well as efforts to address human trafficking.
According to the Virginia State Police, the following is a summary of highlights from the investigation: • 7 firearms were recovered at the value of $4,500 • Total of 141.2 pounds of seized narcotics, as well as 4,500 controlled substance pills • Denied revenue of seized narcotics were valued
