MADISON, Wis. (WBAY) - This weekend, June 7-8, is Wisconsin’s Free Fun Weekend.
This means the public can enjoy state parks, trails, and fishing across Wisconsin with no admission fees, trail passes, or fishing licenses required.
The DNR said free fishing clinics are held during Free Fun Weekend at state and municipal properties to instruct beginning anglers. Visit the DNR Events calendar and Wisconsin State Parks webpage for a list of events and more information on state properties.
Before heading to a state park, trail or waterbody near you, the DNR said there are a few helpful things to know:
