GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Joannes Aquatic Center won’t open as originally planned for Saturday.

Green Bay Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department posted online Friday that Joannes Aquatic Center will be closed Saturday, June 7, due to low staffing.

“We appreciate your patience as we continue to train and certify our new lifeguards. We hope to be up and running fully-staffed soon,” the department said on Facebook.

Resch Aquatic Center and Colburn Pool will open to kick off the summer season from 12:00 - 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
