LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Lincoln Police have made an arrest in a robbery at a gas station early Thursday morning.

Kain Brandt, 30, was arrested and taken to the Lancaster County Jail for robbery and the use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony.

Officers responded just after 4:15 a.m. to the Fat Dogs convenience store off the interstate near NW 12th Street following a report of a robbery.

A store clerk at Fat Dogs told police someone walked up to the counter holding a pocket knife and demanded money. The store clerk threw some cash at the suspect and he ran off with the money westbound through the parking lot.

The clerk was not injured in the incident.

After an investigation, Brandt was arrested later that day.
