OKLAHOMA CITY (WJW) -- An Ohio woman faces federal charges after allegedly trying to exit a plane while it was still in the air.

According to a release from the U.S. Attorney's Office Western District of Oklahoma, Jendaya Kashar Brennan faces a charge of interference with flight crew members and attendants. She faces up to 20 years in federal prison and a fine of up to $250,000.

On May 22, the FBI was notified of a disturbance on a Southwest Airlines flight heading to Phoenix. Brennan allegedly tried to exit the plane through the rear exit door while the plane was still flying.
