PERRY, Ga. — Donut and dessert shops across Central Georgia geared up for National Donut Day this Friday.

Lickin Good Donuts in Perry was no exception, crafting donuts all night for guests to order.

The shop, that's been open since 2018, has looked to create bright and colorful donuts for guests to enjoy. From a classic glazed donut to donuts topped with Oreos and cereal, owner Orith Sreng said creating a beautiful display case is one of his favorite parts of the donut-making process.

He said that, while it can be difficult, the final product makes the effort worth it.
